From all of us at Gamesboro, we hope you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year!
If you don't know already, the Friday after classes begin, January 15th, Gamesboro will be hosting the "Welcome Back to Statesvegas" Rave! Our own resident disc-jockey DJ Do Over and his partner DJ Beatnix will be spinning some funky fresh beats for us, complete with club lights and glowsticks! Starts at 9PM! Be there!
We plan to push the Federation this semester pretty hard! To all current Federation members: make sure you challenge others! You won't rank up otherwise! If you're not a current member of the Federation, come in to the store and ask us what its all about!

THE GEORGIA GENESIS CUP IS HERE! Make sure that if you can't make it to the store that you're watching out LIVE webcam! We'll be webcasting the entire event, just for YOU!
Also, don't forget to come get your free slice of the Genesis's 21st B-Day cake (it's delicious and moist)! That's right, the Genesis is old enough to drink! Also, next update will be today and will be constantly changing to reflect current Genesis Cup statistics!

As most of you know, the Gamesboro Genesis Cup is being held this Saturday, October 26th, starting at 12 noon! This is Georgia's Mega Drive Championship tournament, right here in Statesboro!
Rules for each Georgia Genesis Cup game
Zero Tolerance - 1 on 1
The first person to reach 10 enemy kills is the winner. Remember, you can shoot each other, so hindering the other player is highly encouraged.
Zero Wing - score based - 3 minutes or game over
This is a tough game, and considering it never came out in the US it adds an extra element of toughness. Be prepared for this one!
Racing - team relay - Intermediate difficulty
This is a full team event. Single man "teams" play by themselves, 2 or 3 man teams swap out a fresh person every lap.
Contra Hard Corps - score based - 3 minutes or game over
Don't forget that getting as far as possible doesn't mean you will have a higher score!
Sonic 3 - 1 on 1 - Multiplayer mode - All stages
Items on, don't fault!
Street Fighter II: Special Championship Edition - 1 on 1 - Double Elimination ladder
You can switch out a team mate at any time during the ladder, in between matches.
TIE BREAKER:
Eternal Champions - 1 on 1
Just like every year, if we have a tie of any kind, it is handled in a 2 out of 3 round match.
